new years day

We had a brilliant start into the New Year together with Connie and her family.
After getting up pretty early (considering the time we went to bed last night!) we met up with everybody at the parking lot near Königstein. Connie brought her dad and her sister with family too - so we were a big crowd. I was glad that Nancy, Connies niece came too. She is only 3 years younger (7 years old) and we get on really well. AND it started snowing! It was like a day out of a fairy tale! And since Königstein is a castle in the mountainside near Dresden and at least 400 years old, it was easy to imagine...
Connies Dad invited us to a great meal and after eating, playing, hiking and lots of laughing we got back to just fall into bed.
